The Age of Plastic

Album by The Buggles

The Age of Plastic is the debut album by Buggles, released in 1980 as a concept record about the consequences of modern technology, inspired by the writings of J.G. Ballard. Its layered blend of synthpop, new wave and progressive pop drew heavily from Kraftwerk and has since been cited as an influence by artists including Daft Punk and Justice.
