Assault on Precinct 13 is the soundtrack to the 1976 film of the same name composed by American filmmaker and musician John Carpenter, released in 1976. The score is characterised by sparse, percussion-led motifs and ominous synthesiser textures that exemplify Carpenter's spare, DIY scoring approach and established the sonic template he used on subsequent films and in later electronic and horror soundtrack work.
