Visions of the Emerald Beyond is the fourth studio album by the Mahavishnu Orchestra, released in 1975. Musically, it is a jazz-rock fusion album that combines electric guitar-led improvisation, complex metres, layered keyboards and string textures, and it comes from the band's later period when personnel shifts moved them toward more composed, arranged pieces alongside group improvisation.
