A Design for Life

A single by Welsh rock band Manic Street Preachers was released in 1996. Musically it combines anthemic alternative rock with sweeping orchestral elements, prominent guitars and emphatic choruses that foreground lyrics about class and identity, and it signalled a major stylistic turning point for the band following the disappearance of a member.
