Orgy in Rhythm, Volume One

Orgy in Rhythm, Volume One is a studio album by American jazz drummer Art Blakey, released in 1957. The music is percussive, rhythm-driven jazz with pronounced Afro-Cuban and African rhythmic elements and extended drum and percussion passages, and the release came during a period when Blakey experimented more with percussion and non-Western rhythms in his work.
