Sacrifice

Sacrifice is a single by English singer-songwriter Elton John, released in 1989. A piano-led soft-rock ballad with adult contemporary production, it features melancholic, restrained vocals and atmospheric arrangements and signalled a turn towards more introspective, mature songwriting in John's late-1980s work.
