Maiden Voyage is the fifth studio album by American jazz pianist Herbie Hancock, released in 1965. The album presents atmospheric, modal post-bop compositions characterised by open, impressionistic harmonies, understated rhythmic interplay and emphasised ensemble textures, marking a shift in Hancock's output towards more exploratory, compositionally focused jazz and helping to shape subsequent developments in the genre.
