Chiastic Slide

Chiastic Slide is the third studio album by English electronic duo Autechre, released in 1997. The album emphasises jagged, irregular rhythms, sparse melodies and abrasive digital textures, moving away from their earlier ambient-derived work toward a more abstract, experimental strand of IDM that signalled a decisive shift in the duo's late-1990s sound and approach to electronic composition.
