Baby 81 is the fourth studio album by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, released in 2007, blending garage rock, alternative rock and neo-psychedelia with post-punk influences. Its title references a Sri Lankan infant nicknamed “Baby 81” after the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, and its lyrics explore themes of conflict, identity and political unrest.
