The JUNO-106 is an analogue synthesiser manufactured by Roland and introduced in 1984. It shaped the sound of 1980s synth-pop and new wave and later influenced house and electronic music by offering programmable analogue pads and basses with a chorus effect, and was used by artists such as Vince Clarke and Depeche Mode.
