How do I transfer playlists between services?
TL;DR
Open the Transfer tool, pick a source service and the playlists you want to move, then choose a destination service - Raygum recreates the playlist there for you.
Transferring a playlist step by step
- Make sure both services are connected in Settings > Linked Accounts
- Open the Transfer page
- Pick the source service you want to copy playlists from
- Select one or more playlists from that service
- Pick the destination service you want to copy them to
- Confirm the transfer - Raygum matches each track on the destination service and creates the playlist there
- Review the results screen to see any tracks that could not be matched automatically
Supported services
You can transfer in any direction between the following services:
- Spotify
- Apple Music
- Tidal
- YouTube Music
- Raygum
Track matching across services
Raygum matches tracks by title and artist when copying between services. Most popular tracks transfer successfully. Anything that cannot be found on the destination service is listed in the results screen so you can add it manually.
Do I need accounts on both services?
Yes - you need an account (and for some services, an active subscription) on both the source and destination services. Connect them in Settings > Linked Accounts before starting a transfer.
