Percussion

Percussion music, which began to gain traction in the 20th century, is essentially a rhythmic free-for-all where anything that can be banged, shaken, or struck is fair game. It often features a delightful cacophony of sounds, ranging from drums to kitchen utensils, creating a pulse that might have some old lady clutching her pearls whilst tapping her toe. It's a genre that reminds us that really, the world is just one big drum kit waiting to be played, much to the dismay of the neighbours.
