Whammy
Effects by DigiTech
The DigiTech Whammy is a pitch shifting effects pedal introduced by DigiTech in 1989. It uses a foot treadle to bend notes up or down by as much as two octaves, and its bold, synthetic sound became a signature tool for guitarists such as Tom Morello, Jonny Greenwood and Jack White.
