Caribou

Caribou is a Canadian electronic music project originating in Toronto in the early 2000s, associated with electronic, psychedelic pop and indie electronic styles. Across successive releases the project evolved from sample-based, IDM-influenced production to more song-centred, dance-oriented material that blends layered synthesiser textures, organic instrumentation and complex rhythmic arrangements, and has influenced contemporary electronic and indie scenes.
