Wu‐Tang Clan

Wu-Tang Clan are an American hip hop collective formed in Staten Island, New York City, in 1992, associated primarily with East Coast and hardcore hip hop. Their music combines gritty, sample-heavy production, complex interwoven lyricism and frequent use of kung fu film samples, and they developed a collective business model and cultural presence that affected hip hop's artistic approaches and industry practices.
