Gisela May
Gisela May was a German singer and actress who began her career in the late 1940s and became known for performing chanson, cabaret and theatrical repertoire. Closely associated with interpretations of Bertolt Brecht's songs, she combined dramatic acting with vocal performance and sustained a long career across theatre, film and concert stages within German-speaking cultural contexts.
