The League of Gentlemen

The League of Gentlemen were an English post-punk/new wave group formed in 1980 as a short-lived project centred on experimental, guitar-driven arrangements. Their music combined angular, minimalist guitar work with pop song structures and electronic textures, representing a brief detour within the early 1980s UK alternative scene.
