Thomas Søndergård

Thomas Søndergård is a Danish conductor and former percussionist who began his career in Denmark’s classical music scene, moving from orchestral percussion into conducting and developing an international career within the symphonic tradition. His repertoire encompasses standard symphonic works, Scandinavian composers and contemporary pieces, with performances that emphasise rhythmic clarity and textural balance while contributing to the visibility of Nordic repertoire on international programmes.
