Sofia National Opera Orchestra is the resident orchestral ensemble of the National Opera and Ballet in Sofia, Bulgaria, formed to accompany opera and ballet productions and specialising in orchestral and operatic repertoire. Rooted in the Western classical tradition and Bulgarian musical heritage, the orchestra performs a repertoire spanning standard operatic and symphonic works as well as stage works by Bulgarian composers, and serves as the primary orchestral body for staged opera and ballet in Sofia.
