Renato Fasano
Renato Fasano was an Italian conductor and harpsichordist who founded the chamber ensemble I Virtuosi di Roma in 1941 and established his career in Rome in the mid-20th century. He specialised in Baroque and Classical repertoire, focusing on 18th-century Italian composers and contributing to the post-war revival of Italian chamber and early music through performances, recordings and scholarly editions.
