Future is an American rapper and singer from Atlanta, Georgia, who began releasing mixtapes and recording in the early 2010s within the city's trap scene. His music features Auto-Tune and a blend of melodic singing and rap over trap production, and his prolific mixtape-to-album trajectory coincided with the mainstreaming of Atlanta's trap sound in the 2010s.
