Russian State Symphony Orchestra

The Russian State Symphony Orchestra is a Moscow-based symphony orchestra formed as a state ensemble during the Soviet era and performing within the classical symphonic tradition. It specialises in Russian symphonic repertoire from the 19th and 20th centuries and in the post-Soviet period has also participated in contemporary commissions, film and ballet music, recordings and international touring.
