Harold Budd

Harold Budd (24 May 1936 – 8 December 2020) was an American composer and poet associated with ambient and minimalist music. His work frequently explored atmospheric textures and slow, lyrical piano, and he collaborated with artists such as Brian Eno and the Cocteau Twins.
