Eileen Farrell
Eileen Farrell was an American soprano born in 1920 who began her professional singing career in the 1940s and performed across classical opera, concert repertoire and popular music. She bridged operatic and concert repertoire with jazz and popular song throughout a long recording and broadcast career, later teaching and influencing singers working across classical and popular genres.
