Oregon Symphony is an American orchestra based in Portland, Oregon, tracing its origins to the Portland Symphony founded in 1896 and now operating as a professional symphony orchestra performing primarily classical repertoire. Its repertoire and programmes have broadened over time to encompass contemporary compositions, commissions and crossover projects, alongside education and community engagement that reflect its role as a cultural institution in the Pacific Northwest.
