Inga Nielsen

Inga Nielsen was a Danish operatic soprano, born in Copenhagen in 1946, who began her professional career in the late 1960s and built a repertoire spanning opera and concert work. She specialised in lyric and colouratura roles across repertoire from Baroque to 20th-century works and, over the course of her career, extended her range to include more dramatic parts, appearing in opera houses across Europe.
