Jorge Mester

Jorge Mester is a Mexican-born orchestral conductor who began his professional career in the mid-20th century and has worked primarily in the classical orchestral repertoire. Across a long conducting career he has been associated with regional and national orchestras, emphasised 20th-century and contemporary works, and participated in music education and cultural exchange between Mexico and the United States.
