RZA

RZA is an American hip-hop producer and rapper from Brownsville, Brooklyn, who began his career in the late 1980s and formed a Staten Island-based hip-hop collective that rose to prominence in the early 1990s. His production style is characterised by lo-fi, sample-heavy beats that incorporate soul and kung-fu film samples, and he later expanded into film scoring and diverse production work that helped shape aspects of East Coast hip-hop.
