The Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra

The Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra is a Turkish symphony orchestra formed in Istanbul in 1999 with backing from Borusan Holding, emerging from an ensemble created to expand orchestral activity in the city. It performs a broad classical and symphonic repertoire including contemporary works and pieces by Turkish composers, and over time has expanded its programming and organisational capacity to contribute to Istanbul's orchestral scene.
