Nicola Benedetti

Nicola Benedetti is a Scottish classical violinist born in Irvine, North Ayrshire, who began studying the violin as a child and trained at specialist music schools before launching an international performing career in the early 2000s. Her repertoire spans Baroque, Classical and contemporary works across solo and chamber formats, and she has developed education and outreach programmes aimed at broadening participation in classical music among young people.
