Josef Greindl
Josef Greindl was a German operatic bass born in Bavaria in 1912 who began his professional career in the 1930s and sang regularly at major German opera houses. Specialised in the dramatic bass repertoire, particularly Wagner and other German roles, he maintained a long performing and recording career that helped shape post-war interpretations of the German operatic repertoire.
