The Dukes of Stratosphear

The Dukes of Stratosphear are an English psychedelic pop band formed in Swindon in the mid-1980s as a side project by members of XTC. Drawing heavily on 1960s psychedelia, they used period instrumentation and vintage production techniques to create short, pastiche releases in the mid-1980s before the project was put aside and the musicians returned to their main work.
