Edith Wiens

Edith Wiens is a Canadian operatic soprano from Steinbach, Manitoba, who emerged in the 1970s after studies in North America and Europe and has performed across classical opera, Lied and oratorio repertoire. Her work emphasises lyric soprano roles and art-song recital repertoire with attention to textual clarity and stylistic nuance, and she later supplemented performing with international teaching and masterclasses.
