Kings of Leon are an American rock band from Nashville, Tennessee, formed in 1999. They initially drew on Southern rock, garage rock and alt‑country influences and later incorporated arena rock and indie‑pop elements, exploring themes of youth, family and small‑town life across their studio albums.
