Delia Derbyshire was an English musician and composer, best known for her pioneering work in electronic music and her role in the BBC Radiophonic Workshop. She is renowned for her electronic realisation of the "Doctor Who" theme, which was one of the first television themes to be created and produced entirely with electronic music.
