The Passions
The Passions are an English post-punk/new wave band formed in Deptford, London, in 1978 and active primarily during the late 1970s and early 1980s. Their music paired jangly guitars and atmospheric synths with introspective lyrics, evolving from minimalist post-punk toward a more melodic new wave sound and contributing to the British independent music scene of the early 1980s.
