Leonard Warren was an American operatic baritone from the Bronx, New York, who began his professional career in the 1930s and was closely associated with the Metropolitan Opera. He specialised in Verdian roles and the dramatic baritone repertoire, made studio recordings and numerous live performances, and died on stage at the Metropolitan Opera in 1960.
