Dave Lombardo

Dave Lombardo is a Cuban-born American drummer who began his career in the Los Angeles area in the early 1980s as a founding member of the thrash metal band Slayer. Noted for his precise use of double-bass and rapid drumming, he helped shape the rhythmic vocabulary of extreme metal and has also performed in punk, experimental and solo contexts.
