Janáček Quartet

The Janáček Quartet is a Czech string quartet formed in Brno in 1947 that specialises in chamber music. Their repertoire emphasises Czech composers and 20th-century works, reflecting a post-war effort to promote national music and expanding over decades to encompass both classical and contemporary chamber pieces performed internationally.
