Devlin is an English rapper from Dagenham in East London who began his career in the mid-2000s emerging from the grime scene and British hip hop community. His music combines rapid-fire delivery and narrative lyricism, blending grime, British hip hop and urban production while moving between underground mixtapes and studio albums and addressing themes of urban life and social commentary.
