Billy Bragg

Billy Bragg is an English singer-songwriter from Barking, Essex, who began his career in the late 1970s and early 1980s, blending folk, punk and indie influences. Known for combining punk energy with folk storytelling and politically charged lyrics, he has evolved from spare solo performances to fuller arrangements and collaborations within the folk and roots scenes while remaining active in labour, civil liberties and anti-racism campaigns.
