Kristjan Järvi

Kristjan Järvi is an Estonian-born conductor and composer who began his career in the early 1990s and works across classical, contemporary classical and crossover genres. His musical approach blends orchestral tradition with contemporary, electronic and jazz-influenced elements through founding ensembles, cross-genre collaborations and commissioning of new works, and he has promoted cultural exchange between Europe and North America.
