John Finley Williamson
John Finley Williamson was an American choral conductor who founded the Westminster Choir and Westminster Choir College in the early 20th century, specialising in sacred and collegiate choral music. He promoted rigorous choral training emphasising blend, diction and musicality, championed a cappella and liturgical repertoire, and played a role in shaping collegiate choral programmes in the United States.
