Dorothy Kirsten (1910–1992) was an American operatic soprano from Montclair, New Jersey, who began her professional career in the 1930s and specialised in the lyric soprano repertoire. Her repertoire included leading Italian and German roles, and she maintained a lengthy association with major American opera companies while also appearing on radio and in studio recordings that helped popularise opera to mid-20th-century American audiences.
