The King’s Consort

The King's Consort are a British period-instrument orchestra and choir formed in London in 1980 that specialise in Baroque and early Classical repertoire. Their work focuses on historically informed performances of seventeenth- and eighteenth-century sacred and secular music, with a repertoire that has expanded to include reconstructed ceremonial works and concert performances within the early music revival.
