The Handel and Haydn Society is an American chorus and period-instrument orchestra founded in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1815, specialising in Baroque and Classical choral-orchestral repertoire. Over its more than two centuries of activity the organisation has followed historically informed performance practices and expanded its work to include a broad range of early-music programming, community engagement and commissioning of new works connected to Boston's cultural life.
