Jianyi Zhang

Jianyi Zhang is a Chinese operatic tenor from Shanghai who began his career after studying at the Shanghai Conservatory and went on to perform with a range of international opera companies. Specialising in lyric and spinto tenor repertoire, he performs both Western operatic roles and Chinese art song, with a career that has emphasised bridging Eastern and Western vocal traditions and repertoire.
