Angelo Badalamenti

Angelo Badalamenti was an American composer and arranger from Brooklyn, New York, who began his professional career in the late 1950s and became known for his film and television scores drawing on jazz, orchestral and electronic traditions. His work is characterised by atmospheric, melancholic themes and recurring motifs developed through piano, strings and synth textures, and it evolved into a distinct musical identity closely associated with the surrealist films and television of his frequent collaborator, David Lynch.
