Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five

Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five are an American hip hop group formed in the Bronx, New York City, in the late 1970s, emerging from early block parties and DJ culture. They helped develop turntable techniques such as scratching and backspinning and recorded socially conscious tracks that contributed to the evolution of rap music and its cultural role in addressing urban issues.
