The Choral Arts Society of Washington
The Choral Arts Society of Washington are a large choral ensemble based in Washington, D.C., formed in 1965 to perform classical choral repertoire. They specialise in symphonic choral works, oratorios and a cappella repertoire, regularly collaborating with orchestras, commissioning contemporary composers and undertaking education and outreach activities while performing nationally and internationally as part of Washington's cultural landscape.
